Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a classroom full of first graders that love any and all holidays. As their teacher, I try to make sure we celebrate every holiday to the fullest. We sing holiday songs, we make holiday crafts, we even do holiday themed lessons! They are so excited when they are able to give their loved ones a gift that is special to them.

These roses will make them so special when they gift them!

They are planning on writing a heartfelt poem and attaching them to the roses. Lessons of loving others even if they are different, messages of hope for those that are lonely, and wonderful words of encouragement to be kind to those around you. This project has it all.
