Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are Life skills students that are socially economically disadvantage. Our students are in need of a hard stock in order to make them daily schedules. This students are taught independent living skills and to do their assignments with all available supplies. They are fast learners and work well with hands on activities. They will benefit from having a daily schedule and routines they need to follow in order to me more productive. The students are ready to learn about responsibilities.

My Project

The students get to carry their schedules around on a daily basis and they get to follow a routine without having to ask. Our students need visuals in order to keep up with the class and organization skills. The student will become independent and will not have to ask the teacher what is next, they will know on their own how to transition into the school environment. For example, our student will know in which subject they are in and will know when to go to P.E., music, and art.

They can also transition to home environment with a daily routine of what to do at home as well.
