My students love to be engaged in their learning. They love hands on activities and working together. We are a project based classroom. Students ask questions on a topic and then explore, research and become the expert on the topic. They then teach their peers what they have learned by creating a project. The students in my class love to teach each other what they know and they get excited to become the classroom expert on a subject.
My Project
Students will be working together to do a number of projects.
They will be using the science experiments to explore the Utah SEEd standards.
The students will work in groups and do the experiments. They will create videos to present to the class and teach the students what they learned from the experiments.
The students will read different types of genres. They will make puppets and write scripts based on the genre they study. They will present their puppet shows to the class.
After reading the Ninja Life Hack books, students will use the clay to create figures and tell their own stories. They will film and narrate their own stories using the clay figures to share with the class.
