Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math.I am requesting these items to ensure that all students specifically my students with IEP’s are engaged throughout the lessons with differentiated resources. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. The whiteboards contain the strategy (such as division, multiplication, and place value) already there which allows them to input the numbers on the board.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

With these new boards, my students will be able to solve Math problems easier by having their work organized. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work. My students are special because they are hardworking and dedicated. They try their best each day to do their best even when situations arise.
