My Students

Help my pre-k students meet and develop their language and speech goals by providing them knowledge at their finger tips with interactive technology.

My pre-k students are the best.

They come to class with smiles on their faces and always follow my number one rule: "Do your best!" These students come from low social economic status backgrounds. The majority of them come from non-English, monolingual speaking families whom have little resource to assist with their children's academic needs. Their access to technology outside of the school is limited. With enough and the right motivation, they can learn and improve their language skills. Your assistance can help them bring resources and knowledge to their finger tips.

My Project

I will use your gift of an iPad in a small group setting. This way, each student can have adequate and equal access to the iPad. Language apps, websites, and pictures can motivate and inspire my students to formulate sentences clearly and learn social skills simultaneously. Progress of their language development can be tracked at the tip of my finger tips. Materials for myself will be all on one piece of equipment for easy access; and I can create lesson plans for my students with this gift.

It is important to find ways to motivate students to want to learn and be engaged in school.

Your donations will help my students be motivated to learn and develop their language skills in a fun, interactive, and creative way. In addition, language is the foundation of life. It helps people communicate their needs and wants and develop relationships. Your gift, can help my students help build their foundation to communicate and be an individual in society.
