This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a second year teacher I learn from what I could do better the years that follow and identifying those tools of engagement has been one of them. The curriculum we currently use connects with science which makes hands-on activities meaningful to creating challenging moments that are essential for building problem solving skills. Utilizing these STEM items can help my students create connections with their reading which can sometimes be challenging for them but connecting it with fun activities changes everything. Staying focused isn’t always easy but with the right tools we can all learn and take control of our learning. Having a printer in the classroom will make having the proper resources when needed easier and faster.
