My Project

Pre-school is a time where learning is done using all of our senses. This allows the students to learn not just in a passive manner but through play and art. This active style of learning develops critical thinking skills, social skills, and active play.

Alphabet-Pals are stuffed animals that allow students to learn letter shapes through sensory play.

This play with guidance from the teacher will allow them to begin to learn their sounds and letter combinations. The letters can also be used for imaginary play as the students play in small social groups.

We will use the other materials in the project to develop other aspects small group play through the use of cars and other transportation and community related centers. We can combine all of this with the paint to allow the students to create art projercts that will be themed around the centers that are created and other ideas.
