My Students

How can students thrive in a technology driven world without current technology? Let's change that!

My students are all minority, under-served scholars.

Their potential is unlimited. However, their impoverished, inner city lives have limited their exposure and experiences to things within their community. These students are brilliant, inquisitive and curious. Yet lack of resources continues to impede their success.

My Project

I am requesting a digital projector to use in my classroom. This will allow me to teach all class lessons using various Internet resources and computer software we currently have. It will reinforce a variety of music concepts such as theory and history. In addition, this will give my students the ability to utilize free videos and offerings to explore music from around the world.

This project is important to my students because I believe they deserve the best of materials and an opportunity to learn how to live, work and thrive in a technology driven world.

Without this technology, my students will always remain behind and will likely suffer in the future. This digital projector will be used for years to come in all grades (K-5). Its uses are limitless in exposing and exploring a variety of Internet and computer software resources. Let's change their life's trajectory.
