My Students

Do you remember what it was like to not have hands-on materials in the classroom, or to just complete endless amounts of worksheets? I have some amazing children that would learn best through some more hands-on reading and math games in our classroom.

My students are in a 2nd grade general education inclusion classroom with two teachers.

They attend an elementary school for grades 2-4. I have many students that are visual learners. If I had more reading and math centers I feel that we could teach them to be independent and successful.

My Project

I am requesting a fluency skills listening center. This resource will help students learn to read with fluency, accuracy, and expression. It will help all learners as it has recorded models of good reading techniques, guides, write and wipe cards, and other activity cards. I am also requesting a listen and learn phonics activity program. It has 24 high-interest phonics lessons for students to complete independently. Lastly, I am requesting common core aligned math centers. In our classroom we like to make sure to have materials for multiple levels of learners. This will help our classroom do just that.

Please help me and my classroom learn and explore more concepts and curriculum!
