Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am very proud to say that my students are very special. Most of them are primarily Title I recipients. Although they face social, emotional, and economic challenges, my students are hard workers and eager learners. Many of them understand that education is the key to have a better future. As a result, every day they come to my class eager to learn. They are responsible, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic learners who seem to enjoy school. I am very proud to be working with a group like them.

My Project

The material that I am requesting will make a difference in my students' learning because it will allow me to create engaging presentations, lessons, and projects that will motivate my students to participate and to be more eager to learn. At the moment, I do not own a computer and as a result of distance learning, I need a computer that will be reliable to create and to present my lessons. A new computer will also allow me to provide feedback on the work that students are submitting and to communicate with parents when needed.
