Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our students are energetic and enthusiastic to share their ideas and answers in our math classes! We want to give every student creative ways to express those ideas!

Dry-erase boards give every student opportunities to "show what you know!" By using dry-erase boards, students become creative collaborators who show their thinking and reasoning skills.

Teachers can easily check for understanding and use student responses to provide just-in-time, data-driven instruction and feedback.

Students begin to work more quickly on whiteboards and they work longer. Whether working alone or in groups, all students can make their thinking visible when using whiteboards. Students take more chances and show that Mistakes Allow Thinking to Happen (MATH).
