My Students

Every morning we start off the day by me saying good morning to each one of my students in the hallway.

My school is located in NYC.

Our school serves a wide range of students We have a gifted and talented program. We service special education students, ESL students and general education students from 6-8 grade. My students are from 20 countries speaking 40 different languages.

My Project

My students need a thumb drive copier which will enable me to create assessments aligned to the common core and differentiate instruction based on needs. My students will be given a flash drive to store their school projects, their common core assessments and study tutorials for the NYS (New York State) math and ELA (English Language Arts) exams. My students will be able to see their improvement using the baseline test that is based on the new common core standards.

My students will be able to use the flash drives at their homes after school and on weekends and during vacations to study the common core and to see what they need to worker harder on.

They will see an improvement from the baseline to the mid-year exam. This will help their confidence when it's test time.
