Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students live in a very low income community where they do not always have the supplies that they need in order to be successful. My students need a sharpener and stapler for the classroom so that they can complete basic school tasks.

Having these basic supplies that my students cannot really afford will help them to be more successful in the classroom and will take away some of the pressure of not having them for themselves.

The girls often come to school without feminine hygiene products and having them accessible in the classroom is also a huge benefit.
