Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our band is growing and expanding, we are having so much fun learning new instruments and making music together. The students are thriving in this post pandemic world and we are happy to have our band in full swing now that covid restrictions have been lifted. However, we are currently using old classroom chairs that are doing nothing to help our posture and help our playing. We strive to be the best of the best- both in the music room and in the community. They are service stars giving back and spreading sunshine, kindness and beautiful music wherever they go!

When we perform, we would love to have nice chairs that make us look professional and enhance our performance.

Brand new uniformed band chairs will allow us to be "Upright and Outstanding" for all of our performances. Plus, we won't need to ask the custodians to wrangle up all of the folding chairs they can find to help my students perform. We are adding new chairs as we add new band members.
