Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for a variety of reading and math resources. How will my little ones use these wonderful resources? I have guided literacy and math centers in my classroom each day. I try to be creative and think of ways to make the most of the time I have with my students. I know with these new materials my students will have a lot of fun and enjoy the centers so much more.

These resources will help the students with their reading and math skilIs.

I have requested different types of centers such as the sequencing activity. Students master sequencing and work on building their writing skills independently. The magnetic numbers and number line will also improve their math skills. Students will get to know numbers and how they relate to a number line. I have also requested CVC flash cards to support their reading skills. In addition, I have requested dry erase boards, an organizer, and dry erase markers. This will work best during small group instruction. I will dictate letters, words, or sentences and students will use their dry erase boards to practice their phonics and writing skills.

These centers will help reinforce what students are learning. The materials will also help my children in becoming more successful in their academics by allowing them to manipulate and discover new ways of doing things. We appreciate your support.
