Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Since teachers were mandated to restructure classroom leveled libraries my library is in desperate need of some revamping. Before leaving for summer vacation, I worked on the classroom library. I removed all the bin labels, I removed all the old and tattered books, made a list of high interest books I hope to add to the library (see other projects) and thought of different ways that I could create an inviting reading space. Reading posters, wall decorations, and student reading baggies are materials that will help me to update our classroom library and make it a space students would like to use.
