My Project

I find that keeping my students current in technology gives them advancing opportunities. The need to update my computer equipment is key to their future success.

As the art instructor, I recognize how quickly our equipment becomes obsolete.

My goal is to replace the older model printer with one that has more modern functions and has the capability to produce quality images for our source and research materials. The EPSON printer we have now is very expensive. I have to refill the ink cartridges every 3 months, that's over $300.00 a school year.

The printer in this grant will make over 6,000 color copies, also the eco ink tanks hold over 12 times the ink! We will save a lot of money with the super-tank inkjet printer; money we could use to buy art supplies and career curriculum software.

My students are very special to me, and I care about their futures outside of school. I have always believed my role as their mentor and teacher, is to give them a quality education, bridging them into a successful career. We are only as good as our tools!
