My Students

The most exciting part of my job is witnessing student growth. They go from "I hate this, this is boring!" to "This makes so much sense, this is fun!" No matter what obstacles my students face on a daily basis, from being teenage parents, to raising siblings, or even being homeless they always come to class excited and eager to learn. Our teachers are what make it all possible.

Our students are warriors who never give up.

Despite being at a disadvantage my students always put their best foot forward. During these unprecedented times, an upgrade in technology would really help the quality of instruction that students are receiving.

My Project

Right now teachers are doing their best to provide a quality education through virtual instruction. However, the lack of up to date technology has posed a major problem in the efficiency of virtual instruction. These computers would really help solve the issue of teachers having outdated computers and streamline the process for virtual meetings. No more in and out on the microphones and no more frozen screens!

What's most exciting about the computers is that they have touch screen capability so we can use engaging apps in the classroom, like the white board from explain everything.

In math classrooms, the whiteboard tool is a great feature because you can solve problems out in real time by writing right on the screen. Without the touch screen capability, having to use the mouse to write makes solving an example take much longer than it should. Students will benefit from this because lessons will run much smoother.
