My Project

I am a speech therapist who works with students with severe disabilities and needs. Many of my students are also English Language Learners working to improve their language skills and overcome communication difficulties. We work on improving many skills, including attention, focus, and following directions, as well as language, speech, and communication skills.

My students love using technology to learn, so we do many activities using our laptops.

Using technology can help overcome the difficulties English Language Learners face.

We use our laptops for articulation practice, interactive language activities, virtual worksheets, and more! We focus on many timely issues, such as how to protect the environment, healthy habits, and financial literacy. Our current laptop is old and constantly freezes, which frustrates my students. A new laptop will enable my students to continue learning and increasing their skills!
