Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is made up of diligent, inspiring, and creative fourth graders with big hearts and analytical minds. They attend school every day with purpose and a desire to learn something new, to discuss what they think, and take pride in their efforts. My students learn in a bilingual community with a high level of family support. They attend our school with growing technology opportunities that enhance their approach, application, and articulation of their knowledge and their new learning. We balance this with creativity and physical opportunities with that support the development of persistence, teamwork, and determination.

My Project

Our students are growing in their ability to problem solve and innovate using technology in the classroom. They are showing great strides in research, data collection, mathematical problem solving, and in accessing new knowledge to analyze.

We need a new ipad mini in order to practice and apply some of our learning using apps that are not supported by our current technology.

Please consider supporting our effort in extending our student's opportunity to utilize updated technology for math, science, and technology. Help us provide opportunities to problem solve creatively across disciplines where students can think, access, record, and present their learning.
