My students need 24 rockets, engines, a launch controller/pad, altimeter, and a water bottle launcher. We are kicking off an "Aerospace" club to feed "engineering" minds

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Remember seeing a space shuttle launch on television? Ever dreamed of flying in outer space? Did the idea of designing a plane or rocket really spark an interest? It does for a gifted group of students who stand ready to take on the challenge. We're combining math and science for high interest learning.
With numerous technologies and "space" ops in the deserts of Nevada, this group of budding engineers has shown an interest in creating a club to test their designs, ideas, and imaginations.
These middle school students are grasping for greater opportunities in the future and education/employment adventures that wait just over the horizon. Offering choices such as an Aerospace Club where like-minded young students can come together and share ideas is just one way to open those doors and help propel these students into their continuing educational opportunity, like college, and their careers.
My Project
With the 24 rocket kits, an altimeter, 4 bulk packs of engines, launch pad & controller, and bottle rocket launcher students will work math formulas, use design and engineering skills, learn how to estimate and record altitude, all as they watch they ideas go from drawing board to launch pad. Teamwork, collaboration and cooperation will be the rule of the day as student teams compete against each other for design, flight, and team accomplishments and awards.
With a newly revised interest in space exploration world-wide, now is the time to feed the minds of the future.
But such activities come at a cost. We need these 24 rockets, engines, launch equipment, and your donations to make it happen.
New companies and corporations are springing up each year and their future employees are waiting in the wings. Who says it might not be a couple of these young men and woman? What say we give them a chance to show what they can do?
