My Project

Dear Donors,

I am reaching out to ask for your support in bringing the magic of reading to my fourth-grade students.

I teach at a Title I school where many of my students face challenges that make learning difficult. A significant number are not reading at grade level, and for many, books feel more like a chore than an adventure. Some have experienced trauma, while others have simply never discovered the joy that reading can bring.

I want to change that.

To ignite their love for books, I am launching a novel study featuring “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”. This book is a perfect gateway into the world of reading—full of adventure, friendship, and wonder. My goal is to help my students see reading as exciting and meaningful, rather than boring or intimidating. By following Harry’s journey, I hope to show them that they, too, can embark on their own journeys of growth and discovery through books.

However, I need your help to make this possible. I am seeking donations to provide each student with their own copy of the book, along with engaging activities that will make the experience immersive and memorable. With your generosity, you can help foster a love for reading that could change the trajectory of these students’ education—and their lives.
