Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how my students bring energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to the classroom every day. They are curious and eager to explore new ways of learning, whether it's through music, hands-on activities, or creative outlets. The resources I'm requesting, such as fidget toys, ear protection, and stress-relief items, will help students with focus, anxiety, and sensory needs, creating an environment where everyone can thrive. The musical accessories, like drum pads and keyboard posters, will elevate their practice sessions, giving them the tools they need to sharpen their skills and grow as musicians.

My goal with this project is to create a classroom environment where students feel supported, both academically and emotionally.

By offering sensory tools alongside music education resources, I aim to address the diverse needs of my students, many of whom benefit from additional focus and calming tools. These items will ensure they stay engaged in their learning, whether they’re practicing piano or taking a moment to refocus with a sensory break.

What makes my students special is their resilience and drive. Despite challenges, they consistently show up ready to learn and express themselves through music. By supporting this project, you’re helping provide the resources that will allow them to succeed not only in music but in managing their emotions and focus, both critical skills for their overall growth.
