Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Title I school faces significant challenges in providing the essential learning tools our students need. Due to limited funding, teachers are unable to create high-quality anchor charts and character posters, which are critical to reinforcing key concepts and promoting positive values. The rising cost of living has made it difficult for teachers to purchase chart paper on their own, further limiting our ability to support students with visual aids.

A poster maker would be a game-changer for students and teachers.

It would allow teachers to easily create vibrant and durable anchor charts that can be displayed year-round, reinforcing content in core subjects like reading, math, and science. These charts help students better retain information and engage with the material, making learning more accessible for all students.

In addition, character posters would serve as daily reminders of perseverance, hard work, and the possibilities that lie ahead. For many of our students, who come from poverty-stricken families, these posters would inspire them to see that, despite their circumstances, they can achieve their dreams through determination and effort.

Our goal for this project is to provide every scholar with the necessary visual aids and motivational resources. Our students are unique—they are resilient, eager to learn, and full of potential. With your support, we can give them visual aids and motivational resources that will enhance their learning and uplift and inspire them to reach for their dreams.
