My Project

Incorporating diamond art kits into reading time can significantly enhance my students' learning experience by providing a tactile, engaging activity that complements their focus on the text. While the diamond art kits will serve as a supplementary tool and won’t be used constantly, they offer a calming, hands-on way to maintain attention and interest during reading sessions. This approach mirrors how many adults enjoy multitasking by engaging in activities like working on chores while listening to audiobooks. By integrating diamond art, my students can experience a similar benefit, improving their engagement and enjoyment of reading, thus fostering a more profound and sustained connection to literature.

The primary goal of this project is to cultivate a deeper love of reading among my students by making reading time more enjoyable and engaging.

By integrating diamond art kits, I aim to create a positive, multi-sensory reading environment that encourages my students to look forward to their reading sessions as a pleasant and fulfilling activity. This initiative not only seeks to make reading more enjoyable but also to help my students develop a lifelong appreciation for books by associating them with a relaxing and rewarding experience. Ultimately, I hope to inspire my students to embrace reading during their leisure time as a cherished and enjoyable habit.

My students are exceptionally kind, dedicated, and enthusiastic about new ideas and concepts introduced in the classroom. Their eagerness to embrace novel elements and their genuine effort in their learning make them truly special. They thrive on creativity and innovation, eagerly participating in activities that enrich their educational experience. This openness and dedication make them ideal candidates for a project that integrates reading with an engaging, hands-on activity like diamond art, as they are likely to respond positively and benefit greatly from this enriching approach.
