Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will learn entrepreneurship, audio production, and stage management skills by using the Bose S1 Pro Bluetooth Speaker to DJ music in outdoor shared spaces on campus. In the classroom, this will also be our main sound system connected to our donated flat-screen TV. Students recognize that great quality sound represents an investment in their present and their future. We want students to feel inspired and excited in this classroom.

In our computer science classroom, Dark Mode can be activated once students understand an assignment and are free to work in Focus Mode.

The Posh Creations Foam Filling Bean Bag Refill will transform three sad deflated beanbags into appealing and comfortable seats for students while they are coding on laptops.

To shine sufficient light in the classroom, Novostella Smart LED Flood Light Outdoor lights will be bright enough to light the space, while Govee Smart Outdoor String Lights set the mood and can be programmed to change colors to signal transitions in-class activities, like saving your work and returning your laptop to the charging cart.

The Alxum USB Charging Station keeps distracting phones out of students' hands during class, and Brother Genuine Cartridge TN760 High Yield Black Toner replenishes our classroom laser printer so we don't lose time when we need to print hard copies.
