Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students' boundless creativity and eagerness to express themselves through art. They bring unique perspectives, curiosity, and excitement to every project, making our classroom a space of endless imagination. However, many of them lack access to quality art materials outside of school, limiting their ability to fully develop their skills.

With the supplies I’m requesting—paints, brushes, sketchbooks, and clay—my students will have the tools they need to explore different artistic techniques, experiment with new mediums, and bring their ideas to life.

These resources will not only enhance their technical skills but also build their confidence, problem-solving abilities, and self-expression.

My goal for this project is to create an inclusive and inspiring environment where all students, regardless of their background, have the opportunity to develop a love for art. With the right materials, they can discover their potential, take creative risks, and tell their own stories through their artwork. My students are incredibly special because they are passionate, imaginative, and eager to learn—this project will help them shine even brighter.
