My Project

I have the best job in my school. I teach first grade! Each day I have the opportunity to share in the first learning experiences of some of our youngest students. Bright, kind, caring, and eager to learn are some of the words I use to describe my amazing students.

Our school is a Title I school nestled in a rural community just outside a large military town; most of our students come from low-income families or families with a military connection.

One of the biggest hurdles all teachers face is having classroom supplies to help improve student preparedness, confidence, and class participation.

Having essential supplies like glue sticks, expo markers, and crayons keep my students actively engaged in hands-on learning opportunities. Folders, and lamination sheets give my students a way to organize their work and preserve their most prized accomplishments. Your donation (of any amount) will help provide the supplies we use daily to ensure all students have the materials they need to do their best. Thank you for supporting my class.
