Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Diversity Club is back at it again to create memorable events during the school year.

Our newest voted-on event is inviting our student body to come and participate in expressing themselves through tie dye.

Students will be allowed to chose a shirt and a tie dye kit of their choice to rubber band and colorize their design. The fabric pens will allow them to write specific words of encouragement on their shirts before using the dye. They will then be able to hang their items on a hanger and rack and come to pick them up after they have dried fully. This will allow students to wear their artistic expression.

This event will be available to the student body to encourage community building through the events we hold in our Diversity Club.
