Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our transitional kindergarten students (4-5 years old) currently have a small, secluded piece of concrete as a play area. Originally intended as a staff lunch area, the little ones use the patio furniture to build forts. Our current donated toys are a great start, but we'd love to do better!

We believe that a more enriching play area will greatly support our students' gross motor skills, social and sharing skills, and increase their fun!

The materials purchased will to go students in a Los Angeles neighborhood that is predominantly Latinx. Help our school and our little ones grow!
