My Project
No matter how careful or how prepared a student might be, unexpected things happen. Bathroom accidents, bad weather, spilling milk at lunch- these things can ruin a student's day.
Having extra clothing at school can allow students to bounce back from an unexpected event and continue about their day.
We would like to have extra underwear and socks available for students. This way no student has to sit and wait in the hopes that someone can bring them what they need or pick them up. This project will provide a variety of underwear sizes and warm socks for those in need. We will also put these items in our donation closet. We have received donated outerwear but rarely have received undergarments. This will add a bit of dignity and help to those who need to shop the closet frequently. Any little bit helps our immigrant students.
