Understanding Science is Life

Help me give my students The students with whom I work enjoy hands on learning. Understanding the Science behind living independently will benefit them for a lifetime.

My Project

The students will understand they are able to grow their own produce even if they do not have space for an outdoor garden. This will eliminate the food insecurity for most. The ability to see the process deepens their understanding and builds confidence.

The students will also be able to try new types of foods that they may not get at home.

The students will also be able to understand simple machines and how they work. This part of Science will give them the ability to work in the automotive industry or on small engines, as most of the student in our program will go directly to work.
