My Students

My student are from a very rural community and the school can be considered a "frontier school." Most of them have lived here their whole life and many believe that because our school is so small, we have very little funding and many of the students accept that these things will not change and that we will continue to lose.

I know in the right setting and with the right tools, they can learn and achieve much more than they have ever expected.

I want them to realize that they are worth so much more and that there are people who want them to succeed and to achieve great things. I want them to understand the world they live in and how they can change it. I want to be able to provide them with memorable learning experiences in class which will motivate them for life.

My Project

My students need more opportunities to see what life is like outside of their rural community. How can this be done with limited funds? A book is the perfect answer and can touch the lives and hearts of many students for years to come.

These books will help teach important life lessons that our students need to make a positive change in our world.

These books will help teach our students history as it should be. Unabridged and honest to ensure that we can learn from our mistakes and not repeat them.
