Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many male students in my middle school come from single homes, shelters, and low income households, with no male influence.

Last year I worked with 4 male students and I just had them write their about their situations and feelings.

As a group they talked, laughed, and built a great bond. These young men went from failing and fighting to having a positive outlook.

The snacks are to provide constant energy to growing boys. It is a lot easier to give boys a snack and have them write and discuss their feelings in the composition notebooks.
