This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

HES opened its doors in August of 2023. We are a Title I school (meaning most of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch) and are located north of Fort Worth, TX.

Help us have enough ukuleles for everyone.

My students are so excited about learning ukulele this year; however, I only have a few and they have to share 2-3 per group. If we had enough ukuleles for everyone they could double or triple the amount of time they spend playing and learning the instrument. Your contributions will go toward purchasing four more ukuleles for our program! Thank you!
