My Project

I teach all 4th & 5th grade students how to play the Ukulele. I have a class set of 20, which until this year was always enough. My classes have ballooned past 20 and have hit 25. Now, I have a few students sitting out each class because I do not have enough instruments.

5 new Ukuleles will allow ALL students in my classes to fully engage in meaningful, exciting and fun music education.

Learning to play the Ukulele not only meets our learning targets, but is also a lifelong skill that will bring a lifetime of joy and harmony to all of my students.

With your help we can ensure that all students in 4th & 5th grade get an equal footing in the music room.
