My Project

Help my 4th and 5th grade students learn the fundamentals of playing the Bass through the use of UBasses a Ukulele sized Bass instrument that puts all the sound of a Bass guitar into a smaller package perfect for Elementary students. These students have begun to learn basic skills on their soprano ukuleles and are ready to add more diversity of sound to our ensemble. These instruments will motivate and challenge them. As they move on to middle school these skills will be valuable giving them the opportunity to chose instruments like the double bass in orchestra.
