My Students

The students in our Title I Elementary School come from a variety of backgrounds. Many of our students are English Language Learners. In fact, our school has one of the largest ENL (English as a New Language) populations in the city. My students are fully remote, and we have been working in groups to meet their various needs and academic levels.

The future of the world is in the classroom today (or in our case learning remotely!)

With many of my students being from a variety of backgrounds, as well as students with disabilities, I believe it is important to create a versatile learning environment. I like to do this through the use of computers! With the use of this monitor I will be able to help multiple students at the same time.

My Project

This second screen will help to provide a way to see my students while sharing my screen virtually. It will also help as a tool to monitor grouping and provide extra support to students with special needs, and those who may be struggling. As we enter our new unit of study, book clubs, I will need monitor various groups (8 of them with multiple students in each), within a given literacy period. This screen will help as a tool not only to present lessons, but to monitor understanding of my students.
