Turning Wrenches, Changing Lives: Support Our Bike Club Mission

My Project

Our high school Bike Club is a student-driven organization committed to promoting cycling and community engagement in Tempe, Arizona. Beyond fostering a love for biking among its members, the club actively extends its reach into the local community through various service initiatives.

One of the club's notable efforts includes collaborating with local organizations to refurbish bicycles for those in need.

By tuning up bikes for the Welcome to America Project and overhauling rides for the Tempe Bicycle Action Group’s youth fleet, our Bike Club ensures that reliable transportation is accessible to all. These projects not only provide essential services to the community but also offer students hands-on experience in bicycle maintenance and repair.

To enhance the impact of their community service, our Bike Club seeks support in acquiring essential tools and materials. A gift of these resources would enable the club to:

- **Expand Outreach**: With additional tools, more bicycles can be serviced and distributed, broadening the club's reach within the community.

- **Enhance Skill Development**: Access to a wider range of equipment allows students to learn and master diverse repair techniques, fostering practical skills that extend beyond the classroom.

- **Ensure Sustainability**: Proper tools and materials ensure that repaired bicycles meet safety standards, providing recipients with dependable transportation options.

Your support in providing these tools and materials will empower the students in our Bike Club to continue and expand its mission of service, education, and community building through cycling.
