My Project

The project based learning project will require students to create a visually striking and informative display highlighting pivotal turning points in history for the upcoming History Day competition (this is an example using this past year's theme). Your display should capture the essence of a student selected turning point through compelling visuals, concise text, and engaging graphics using both primary and secondary sources. Utilize a mix of photographs, illustrations, timelines, and maps to illustrate the key events, causes, and consequences of each turning point. Incorporate quotes, primary source excerpts, and brief explanations to provide context and deepen understanding of the PEGS (political, economical, geographical, and social) aspects of the topic. Aim to create an eye-catching and educational display that effectively communicates the significance of these historical turning points to viewers of all ages. Your donation is even more significant as Aiea Intermediate is a Title 1 school and many of our student cannot afford to get the best supplies. Proper sized display boards was a big issue in previous years.
