Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students this year have a true love for learning. This group is my chatty bunch. They love to socialize and spend their free time getting to know each other. It is no secret that curriculum has changed throughout the years. Many of us think back to simple times of learning a letter each day and creating a fun craft. Or the various days/holidays we celebrate. The amount of things students need to learn is increasing each year. The pressure on students is also increasing.

My hope is that with these materials we can make learning more fun.

By using colored paper we can make stories pop! We are constantly printing as teachers. This will take the burden off of teachers as we print from our own budget but allows us to utilize color ink! With this I can print learning games and also have the ability to laminate it for future use. Utilizing dry erase markers will allow us to have more white board time which we use especially during math and phonics. Although chairs are something that is provided in schools, what happens when there are no more chairs? I love having various places to sit in my classroom but I am in need of more chairs in order to actually make that dream a reality. Any donation will mean the world to my class and I. This is making a difference in young peoples lives as they are the future of this world.
