This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are an intelligent group of individuals who are unique in their own ways. They are preparing to enter fourth and fifth grade and are loving how accountable they are of their work and learning! While teaching fifth graders in summer school, I was able to really understand the general interests and needs of students this age.

Technology is taking over the world and we should encourage our students to use it appropriately in the classroom.

Brainstorming ways to meet each students' needs is what us teachers do on a daily basis. With the struggles many students face at home, I want to make sure that my classroom is a warm, inviting, and safe place for their minds to grow!

My Project

The materials and supplies I am requesting will help keep my students engaged and excited to learn! In our school, all copies must be sent to the secretaries and then returned to us. Having the printer/copy machine will allow me to individualize my students' needs without wasting paper!

The headphones will allow my students to watch interactive videos without distracting others around them.

My students love watching videos and using sites such as RazKids, Khan Academy, IXL and iReady. Having the headphones will allow them to listen to stories and have questions read to them. Speakers will allow me to show my students videos that they can hear and use the SmartBoard for interactive activities.
