Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is my first year teaching first grade. I am so excited and want my students to be successful. I have noticed that during testing some students have a hard time working independently.

Providing them with a distraction free setting will help them to focus on their work and also allow all classmates to show what they know.

The play-doh will be used to help students self-regulate quietly during assessments. I feel that these two items paired together will help my students be more productive and remain focused and quiet during assessments.
