My Project

Our LION cheerleaders have never been exposed to competitive cheer. Cheerleading is a respected sport that can provide students with the opportunity to receive scholarships for college and exposure to new places and people. These tumbling mats will be the start of enabling our students with the chance to learn and (in some cases) improve upon their cheer abilities.

Our goal is to continue to add to the equipment and know-how in our school, in order to create a nationally ranked cheer squad that brings in funding, scholarships, and acceptance into schools with impressive collegiate cheer squads.

We'll be using these materials to teach our students how to tumble safely, along with teaching them different jumps and pyramid techniques.

Our LION community is filled with students who are ready to learn, and who are talented, and hardworking. Having a challenging sport like cheer to motivate them, our students will be even more committed to their academic goals and eager to prove themselves both in the classroom and on the competition floor.
