Students at my school come together from many different backgrounds and abilities to create a beautiful community that we call home. We have both self-contained Montessori classes and self-contained gifted classrooms, as well as our mainstream classrooms, so we are able to meet a large variety of learning styles and student needs.
My students are curious about how the world works, and I try to foster that curiosity with a project-based curriculum and hands-on learning experiences.
Our school is a place where we can come together and build while exploring concepts in science, the arts, engineering, and more.
My Project
The requested art and science supplies will help to supplement our classroom arts, cultural, and science curriculum. The rock tumbler would be a perfect addition as we begin to study the rock cycle and landforms, and the paper, baskets, and wipes will keep our classroom clean and organized.
The art supplies will go a long way in providing a calming and relaxing experience for my students.
My upper elementary students love to embroider, and these additional supplies will really take our embroidery skills to the next level! Right now, half of our class is able to embroider together during circle- with additional supplies we will all be able to participate together.
