My Project

The Trout in the Classroom program will provide an opportunity for my students to learn conservation and how to successfully raise trout from eggs to fingerlings. Students will be responsible for maintaining the water quality and cleanliness of the trout aquarium. Trout in the Classroom connects students with their watershed.

Trout Unlimited’s environmental education program is a gateway stewardship experience for students.

It fosters a new generation of advocates for salmonids and the watersheds in which they live. The fingerlings will be released in a natural habitat stream in the spring. This is a unique opportunity that would not be realized without your help!
