My Project

I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and now I have started my next teaching adventure in second grade!

One thing that never changes is that students love earning a reward!

This project is for treats and treasures for students to earn as part of their positive behavior supports. We also have a classroom economy where students learn financial literacy through the earning and spending of classroom store items. If they achieve their goal, they earn dollars and can buy a reward. These items would be used to reward students for their hard work progressing toward their behavior goals. In addition, these would be some "big ticket" items that my students could save up for. These items include a small journal and pen, a coloring book, and a fun chair to sit in. One of my previous students' favorite thing to "purchase" is a ticket to sit in the teacher's chair. My new classroom only has one chair for me to use and it is just a basic office chair. I would like to have a fun and colorful chair for students the have a chance to sit in for the day.
