My Project

It's time to update my classroom library! My current class is constantly browsing my books. There are so many wonderful new authors, which means new fantastic books! Plus, many of the titles I picked have diverse characters. My students want to read books with characters that look like them! Representation matters, especially in a Title 1 school with a diverse population.

Also, many of my students do not have chapter books at home.

I want them to be able to borrow my books to complete their nightly reading homework. I want to help provide rich literacy opportunities beyond the classroom walls.
