Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students at PS 83 are learning how to be amazing citizens in our school community. We use PBIS incentives to keep students motivated to respond to their peers and community members in a way that shows how amazing they are! Students earn "wolfie bucks" for being outstanding students and citizens. They use these rewards to purchase small fidget toys, gifts for friends and family, and some students are learning how to save their bucks for bigger rewards.

We want our students to understand that being a good person is the most important aspect of their education, and we want to reward them for doing so.

Please help us to keep students excited about the prizes they can earn. We have been surviving on teacher donations and purchases but these kids are doing so wonderfully that we need some help!
