My Project

I've been working with 65 struggling second and third-grade students to improve their reading skills. One of the ways to motivate them is to have a treasure chest full of prizes they would want to earn. Students love smelly stickers and squishy toys. I'm also requesting lip balms to add to the treasure chest because many students lick their lips and burn them, and they need the lip balm to moisturize their lips.

Since I have so many students, the prizes in the treasure chest disappear quickly.

They all look forward to getting a prize, and they try hard to learn high-frequency words and do their daily reading homework.
